License Requirements Explained

All Swift Kon-Tiki models exceed 3,500kg in Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM). This means that to legally drive any of these motorhomes, you must hold a C1 category license. You can read more about a C1 category license by reading our blog here.

  • If you passed your UK driving test before 1st January 1997, you automatically have a C1 entitlement on your license.
  • If you passed after this date, you will need to take a separate C1 driving test to be eligible to drive these motorhomes.
