Yes. Modern inflatable air beams are very stable when properly pegged and tensioned. They’re also lighter and quicker to set up.
Some awnings are designed for seasonal pitching and can stay up for months. Look for models with reinforced fabrics and sturdy frames if you plan to leave your awning up long term.
